Qualifications
- A minimum of master’s degree in nursing and at least be matriculating through a terminal degree program such as PhD or DNP
- Possess an unencumbered RN license in Michigan
- Have a minimum of 10 years of nursing and leadership experience
- Have taught in higher education for a minimum of two years
- Exhibit local connections (and / or the ability to create them)
- A good reputation in the nursing community
- Complete buy-in with professional accreditation value
- An optimistic magnetism and ability to find excitement in growing a relatively new program
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate leadership and teaching.
- Preference will be given to those with experience and expertise in teaching in person and online, and with academic leadership.
Annual Salary : The actual salary will be commensurate with candidate credentials and experience. A full benefit package of health plans, disability coverage, 100% tuition remission for employees and their dependent children, and a 403(b)-retirement plan is included.
