Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to assume the following responsibilities:
· Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process.
· Reconcile the company's financial records to ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
· Post financial transactions to accounts and prepare financial statements.
· Fill out tax forms and work with accountants to ensure proper compliance.
· Assist with tax payments and returns.
· Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
· Bring books to the trial balance stage.
· Close books monthly.
· Manage accounts payable and receivable, as well as payroll.
· Process purchases and refunds for employees.
Essential qualifications include:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
· Prior experience in a similar role at least three (3) years.
· Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and accounting systems and operations.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook), with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
· Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks; experience with other tax preparation and accounting software.
· Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
· Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
· Detail-oriented and able to prioritize.
· Able to work independently and as part of a team.
· Meticulous attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
· Excellent data entry skills.
· Payroll accounting skills.

Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
