Cornhusker International Trucks, Inc. is looking to hire a Full-time Truck Salesperson to sell our New & Used Truck inventory.
Location: Lincoln, NE
Shift: Monday thru Friday with occasional Saturdays
Salary: Base plus commission

The following skills/abilities are needed to perform the duties of a Truck Salesperson:
- Develops sales territory by calling on new & existing customers and building relationships
- Creates daily call lists and schedules follow up meetings with customers
- Travels and canvases areas for new accounts in addition to assigned ones
- Learns the nature of the customer's business and develops sound transportation solutions that meets their business needs
- Responsible for sales of new and used trucks and any trades
- Creates specifications for vehicles and planning before placing orders
- Formulates trade packages
- Helps maintain inventory in the lot
- Attends trade show events & customer events
- Attends sales meetings
- Builds the International brand and company products
- Follows sales department's process and procedures
Qualifications:
- Demonstrates good communication skills both orally and written
- Demonstrates the ability to be motivated and a self-starter in a team environment
- Demonstrates professionalism in the workplace, including conduct and appearance
- Demonstrates good time management skills and is detail-oriented
- Possesses a strong agricultural or automotive/mechanical background
Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years of sales-related experience in a dealership setting is a plus
- Ability to drive manual transmission
- Good driving record required
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required or obtained within ninety (90) days of employment
- Must be able to frequently lift 10 - 50 lbs.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must pass a drug test & background check
