Position Summary
The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for representing Cornhusker Truck Center in a professional and courteous manner when greeting visitors, vendors, customers, and guests by ensuring an exceptional first impression and experience, whether over the phone, by email or in-person.
Essential Job Functions
- Provide prompt and excellent customer service through using appropriate telephone etiquette and performing with a sense of urgency in attending to customer requests.
- Schedule customer vehicle service.
- Create repair quotes and other clerical tasks as dictated by the needs of Cornhusker Truck Center.
- Order parts for repair jobs, receive parts and put parts away in parts department as needed to satisfy needs of CTC.
- File and maintain invoices for the Parts and Service Departments.
- Assist at the cash register, as needed.
- Handle facility daily opening and closing procedures.
- Serve as the point of contact for guests and customers alike to determine their needs and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
- Keep the lobby lounge picked up, safe, and clean.
- Utilize CTC software Mitchell1, Excelerator and J-Pro to maximize effectiveness through implementation and training.
- Ensure all outgoing mail is sent daily.
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Experience or knowledge of using computer software’s to be efficient
