Role Purpose
Corning Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain professional to join the Procurement transformation team. As a key player in our Supply Chain transformation, this role will focus on supporting implementation of the global supply chain procurement capabilities and standards for Corning, as well as partnering with Corning’s businesses to support their procurement transformation journey towards best-in-class practices.
This individual will support the design, development, and implementation of supply chain procurement work processes and standards and collaboration with cross-functional teams at Corning’s businesses to effectively implement, lead change management and adoption of procurement standards.
As a member of the Procurement team, s / he will be a key contributor of optimizing Corning Supply Chain from a service, cost, and working capital perspective and contributing to the global procurement organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the supply chain procurement standard work processes at Corning’s businesses.
- Partner with Corning businesses in adopting best in class practices in purchasing, sourcing, supplier relationship management, supply risk management and supply sustainability.
- Partner with Procurement COE in identification of process gaps, development, and implementation.
- Support development of project scope, plan, and deliverables, and ensuring the plan is completed on time and within scope.
- Tracking project performance and reporting on progress to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings and implementing best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

The range for this position is $69,318.00 - $95,313.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
