Your Role:
· Set up and operate mills, turret lathes, drill presses, and broaches to cut metal parts to specified sizes and designs.
· Use gauges, calipers, and micrometers to verify dimensions and ensure quality.
· Perform drill, deburring, and broaching operations, including changing worn cutters and broach blades.
· Maintain and lubricate equipment, ensuring it runs smoothly.
· Keep accurate records and perform regular inspections of tools and parts.
What we’re looking for:
· High school diploma or GED.
· At least 4 months to 1 year of experience in a similar role.
· Proficient in reading blueprints, routings, and using measuring instruments (e.g., gauges, calipers, micrometers).
· Ability to set up machines with minimal supervision.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to produce quality parts with minimal scrap.
