What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Training Coordinator (10PM to 6AM) SUN - FRI position at Coroplast Tape Corporation?
Position Summary:
The Production training coordinator will be responsible for facilitating and/or training an individual or small group on the safety, quality, and production requirements in the facility. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator and able to demonstrate the required tasks as well as train someone on how to perform the tasks. The training coordinator will complete assessments and provide written and verbal information to the trainees and supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Production Training Coordinator will have knowledge of all machines operating in the converting department as well as all packing procedures, safety-JSAs and quality requirements. The trainer will be responsible for setting up and monitoring all training documents and will be responsible for ensuring that the employee is able to perform the expected production for that position.
- Ensure employee training records are up to date.
- Maintain/create training matrix.
- Ensure new employees complete onboarding for EHS and job specific training.
- Auditing and documenting new and existing employees for operating any particular machine, including the Zwick testing machine.
- Verify and document training milestones that are reviewed on time with shift leader.
- Review employee performance and learning
- Follow all policies and procedures related to IATF16949 and ISO 14001.
- Maintain safe work practices at all times.
- Support Corozen / 6S activities in Team.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel),
