The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Will be responsible for Revenue Recognition & Assurance accounting functions
- You will directly manage and provide oversight of roles within the finance team to achieve accurate and timely reporting of revenue across the Lodging Payments business.
- You will effectively manage the flow of contract information to appropriately record revenue from multiple service offerings, by legal entity and market, and being able to evaluate any sales tax or other state or local filing requirements to operate such business; you effectively communicate with Legal & Tax as needed.
- You will work with the Operations teams to create appropriate billing processes and deliverables showcasing accuracy and professional standards of Corpay
- You ensure the global accounting policies and procedures are followed including maintaining an effective control environment and adherence to internal controls.
- You will participate in the analysis of revenue and the collection of delinquencies to ensure maximum benefit to the line of business, while being able to catch errors that would misstate revenue. Coordinate with Operations to provide accurate and beneficial reporting
- You will maintain regular contact and build/maintain solid working relationships with internal stakeholders to provide necessary financial information and ensure the highest level of business partnering
- You will partner and work effectively with the FP&A teams to understand key metrics and utilize these to investigate and explain revenue variances and to support budget and forecasting processes
- You will support the Finance & IT Transformation agenda
- Provide Clear Direction and Expectations: Provide the Revenue Assurance Accounting Team with clear direction and expectations for achieving agreed objectives.

- Engage with Stakeholders: Engage with key stakeholders and customer groups to agree on and prioritize continuous improvement initiatives.
- Efficiency and Effectiveness: Ensure efficiency and effectiveness in finance operations function resourcing.
- Proactively Manage Value and Risk: Proactively escalate value and risk issues.
- Financial Information Quality: Ensure financial information provided to support decision-making is fit-for-purpose is compliant and provides clear explanations of financial issues and their implications.
- Protect Financial Assets: Protect CORPAY’s financial assets by ensuring compliance with financial regulations and GAAP.
- Process and System Improvement: Undertake other ad hoc tasks as required, focusing particularly on improving processes and system
- Bachelor’s Degree (accounting or finance designation), with CPA
- Approximately 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience obtained in large or complex public organization with high volume transactions
- A minimum 8 years related finance or accounting experience in a supervisory role
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience working for a Big 4 Accounting firm
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of internal controls, SOX, USGAAP
