What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Network Engineer within our SVS division. This position falls under our Corpay Payables line of business and is located in Louisville, KY. In this role you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient communication across the organization. You will support the ongoing growth, and changes of our network, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize network performance. You will report directly to the Director of Network Engineering and regularly collaborate with other IT teams.

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Designing and implement scalable, high-performance network infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, to meet the business requirements.
Configuring and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancing and VPNs based on best practices and industry standards.
Troubleshooting and resolve network issues across the organization by identifying problems and applying appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
Implementing and enforce network security policies, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and preventing unauthorized access.
Monitoring network performance using various tools and techniques to detect issues and proactively optimize network efficiency and reliability.
Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems with other enterprise systems. Document network configurations, topology, and procedures.
Performing routine network maintenance and upgrades, ensuring that systems and software are up-to-date and aligned with company standards.
Performing payments of all telecom billing, in addition to reconciliation of said payments. Will also be responsible for circuit provisioning and decommissioning.
Providing network-related technical support to internal teams and assist in training staff in networking best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a strong understanding of network protocols and technologies.
CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification or equivalent experience is preferred. Additional certifications such as CCNA, CCIE, or others will be a plus.
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
Advanced knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, etc.).
Experience with VPNs (IPSec, SSL VPN, etc.), firewalls, and network security appliances.
Experience with BIGIP F5 LTM / WAF / DNS
Familiarity with wireless networking standards and technologies (802.11, WLAN, etc.).
Knowledge of network monitoring and diagnostic tools (MRTG, Wireshark, etc.).
Strong understanding of QoS, VLANs, STP, DHCP, DNS, and IP addressing.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex network issues efficiently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and team collaboration.
Ability to pay close attention to technical details and ensure accuracy in network configurations.
Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Strong desire to provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
On-call rotation.
