The Role at a glance :
We are looking to add a skilled, experienced Director of Catering to our Corporate Chefs team in McLean, VA. As a Director of Catering, you will have the opportunity to provide leadership to and direct the development of an assigned business unit. This role is Monday- Friday and oversees the catering operation for a high volume professional dining account. We execute high level conference dining and some receptions.
What you'll be doing :
- Providing strategic leadership to the unit sales team to ensure the success of revenue goals, including guiding and supporting unit sales, event planning and execution, and by personally representing the company.
- Building unit level sales teams by recruiting, selecting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and providing counseling to business unit sales team members to ensure both individual and team success and growth.
- Developing business performance against company sales standards and metrics, including budgeted sales goals, event profitability, guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and safety and sanitation.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and employees.
- Ensuring the highest level of integrity and accountability in all business dealings.
