Are you passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness and managing a dynamic team? We're looking for an Assistant Manager to join our commercial cleaning company.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Assistant Manager for our Commercial Cleaning team. In this role, you will support our Account Manager in overseeing daily operations. This will include cleaning at various locations to fill in for absences/open positions, training new employees, and performing inspections. This position is perfect for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about upholding high cleaning standards. Consistent and reliable attendance is essential to be a good candidate for this role!

Responsibilities:
- Cleaning - this is a cleaning position, you will be required to fill in at different locations to cover absences, vacation days & open positions
- Training - assisting the account manager in training new employees at different locations within the book of business as well as providing ongoing support to exisiting staff
- Inspecting - performing routine inspections at all buildings to ensure cleaning standards are being met, and to be proacive in avoiding complaints from customers
Requirements:
- Must be 18 yrs or older
- Willing to undergo a background check
- Valid Driver's License and own transportation
- Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs
- Driving required during shift (drive time will be paid)
- Attend occasional office meetings in Commerce Twp, Michigan
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial cleaning or related field strongly preferred
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks and effectively communicate with clients, cleaning staff and management
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules, supplies, and tasks efficiently
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attendance is essential for this role, candidates must be realiable and punctual
