Day Porter / Custodian

Join Our Team as a Day Porter/Custodian at Corporate Cleaning Group!

Hey there! We are looking for friendly, dependable people to join our awesome team at Corporate Cleaning Group in Waco, TX. If you have a bit of cleaning experience and enjoy working independently, we would love to meet you!

Hours: Monday-Friday: 6:00am-2:30pm or Tueday, Thursday and Friday: 7:30am – 4:00pm

Pay: Starts at $16/hour

What You Will Be Doing:

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors to keep everything spotless
• Taking out the trash from common areas, offices, restrooms, and locker rooms
• Dusting and wiping down surfaces (like chairs, desks, counters, and shelves)
• Cleaning all areas of the restrooms (sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors)
• Shining up glass surfaces (windows, mirrors, and glass partitions)
• Restocking paper products and soap dispensers to keep things running smoothly
• Disinfecting high-touch areas like doorknobs, light switches, and handrails to ensure safety
• Tidying up common areas, wiping down countertops and equipment, and making sure everything is sanitized
• Spot cleaning walls, baseboards, and doors as needed
• Restocking and maintaining the coffee and snack bar, keeping it clean and stocked with coffee, snacks, and supplies
• Cleaning up spills quickly to keep the building safe and tidy
• Keeping our supply closets neat and organized
• Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to keep everything running smoothly
• Using floor maintenance equipment to clean and polish hard floor surfaces

What We Are Looking For:

• Must be able to speak English, as you will be interacting with clients and team members
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
• Comfortable operating cleaning equipment
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work
• A team player who can also work independently
• Someone with great attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• A positive attitude, with great attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move items (up to 50 pounds)
• A willingness to follow safety and cleaning guidelines in specialized areas
