This role reports directly to the CEO and will be able to offer valuable financial insights to guide executive decision-making.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead our financial closing process, ensuring precision and compliance.
- Dive into financial data to influence strategic decisions and foster company growth.
- Monitor and implement price adjustments to enhance profitability and market positioning.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Oversee and streamline expenses and payables for accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage sales tax calculations and filings to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Supervise A/R processes, ensuring timely collections, effective cash flow management, and accurate financial reporting.
- Apply your analytical skills to tackle financial challenges and improve processes.
- Analyze and create reports to optimize purchasing decisions and cost efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong background in strategic financial analysis with a proven ability to work independently and drive results.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of solid experience in financial analysis or related roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and process improvement.
- A solid understanding of financial principles and a track record of providing strategic insights to leadership.
Starting Salary: Up to $50 per hour depending on experience
Hours/Schedule: 2-3 days per week
Location: Nassau County, Long Island
