The VP of Marketing is responsible for planning, developing, and executing the organization’s marketing strategy and initiatives. This role builds strong go-to-market strategies that are deeply rooted in client relevancy and differentiation and develop successful client relationship strategies, excellent sales performance, and revenue growth.Essential FunctionsLead Generation & Client RelationshipsCreate targeted lead generation and client relationship programs.Research, identify, and qualify new leads from both new and existing clients.Sales StrategiesBe an active participant in developing new methods for engaging with prospective corporate clients.Lead the process for new corporate prospects in each LOB and helps set the marketing investment for each pursuit.Content Development and Quality AssuranceEnsures that all proposals, qualification packages, presentations, and general marketing materials portray our brand, producing best-in-class, and competitive marketing material.Budget, Goals & MetricsWork with the C-suite to develop an annual marketing budget for the corporate practice and help set annual marketing / sales goals for each LOB within the corporate practice.Partnership managementLeverage marketing budgets from partners like SAP, SAP NS2, AWS, Azure, GCP to fund campaigns and track progress and success.Internal and external communicationsOversee and execute communication efforts across the company.Partner with HR and leaders to develop employee communication strategy.Create press releases and content for external communications on website, LinkedIn, etc.Other duties as assigned.Education & ExperienceMinimum 10 years of experience in leading successful marketing and business development programs for professional services / B2B companies.Bachelor’s Degree in in Marketing, Business Administration or Communications or related field. Graduate Degree in Marketing or Communications is a plus.Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.Experience leading a marketing organization in an IT Services / System Integrator.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to develop go to market strategies while ensuring adoption and execution.Thorough understanding of executing demand generation, prepositioning strategies, and acting on insights from performance metrics.Ability to mentor, inspire, and motivate business development and marketing staff.Excellent strategy execution skills, communication and presentation skills.Exceptional time management and organizational skills; ability to work efficiently under multiple deadlines and manage large teams.Company OverviewOur client is a global technology services company with a mission to modernize and transform industries that matter by providing world-class IT services, consulting, and implementation solutions.
