Job Summary:
We are seeking a Regional Director of Operations for our client. The Regional Director of Operations for the East Coast manages the Location Operation Managers (LOM) by providing coaching, training and direction to ensure sales, customer service, and field services profitability and asset management goals are met. Responsibilities include assisting in the hiring, training, performance management including annual performance and midyear evaluations and corrective actions. Ensures all company policies, safety standards, and procedures related to employees and operations are followed.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all locations and employees are following all procedures, policies, safety standards and work instructions related to business operations.
- Resolve customer issues, complaints and transactions when necessary.
- Develop new solutions to meet client needs regarding design, manufacturing capacity, quality, on-time delivery, and cost.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend changes to processes for better productivity. Plan and conduct capacity expansion plans to meet market requirements.
- Oversee large projects and interpret performance reports.
- Manage, supervise and conduct location visits, follow-up, and assist in resolving deficiencies.
- Assist in the planning of forecasting inventory needs, ensuring adequate product inventory is available and in good condition.
- Resolve operations issues or concerns by communicating with Vice President of Operations or the corporate office where appropriate.
- Ensure account sales are monitored, and accounts are being worked via CRM.
- Review P&L’s and provide guidance and direction to help deficient areas get back on track.
- Work with LOMs and Luxury Sales Managers in each region to enable each region to achieve overall sales goals.
- Act as support line with sales.
- Work with the Vice President, People to proactively develop the branches’ staffing/talent pipelines including actively networking to ensure adequate personnel are in each location at all times.
- Ensure that field technicians provide outstanding and timely service to their customers.
- Support the Location Operations Managers and Regional Luxury Sales Managers in operational management and preparing performance and management reports.
- Ensure that all employees receive sufficient training for their roles and coordinate with the corporate office, HR and company trainers to ensure training goals and requirements are continuously met.
- Liaise with corporate real estate and operations for branch openings, closings, relocations and layout planning including conducting real estate building and location evaluations.
- Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.
Requirements:
- Strong financial acumen for budgeting, forecasting, understanding of revenue opportunities, market variables and commercial contract underpinnings.
- Strong team leadership experience managing people in multiple locations with collaborative working style.
- Demonstrated results getting individuals/teams to perform at higher levels through changing expectations.
- Demonstrated contract and negotiations skills and strong vendor relations.
- Interpret and analyze business correspondence, contracts, financial and statistical data, and technical procedures.
- Ability to present business cases to optimize the assets and perform cost/benefit analysis.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
- Ability to direct operations and manage employees remotely.
- Ability to travel for training and meetings up to 75% of the time.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 7 years of proven operations leadership
- 3 years of leading multiple layers of people leaders
- Comprehensive operational and analytical abilities
- Extensive experience leading a multi-location, multi-city, or multi-state service business
- Experience leading a highly effective operations department, consistently exceeding quotas
- Unquestionable ethics, integrity, and business judgment which aligns with the company's values
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
