Corporate Connections/First Connect Corporate Services is a leading provider of DRUG FREE WORKPLACE programs for Ohio employers and we are growing fast! We are hiring an as needed, contract DRUG FREE WORKPLACE trainer to provide corporate employee and supervisor trainings in the NORTHEAST OHIO area.
This position will begin in JULY. Most assignments will be M-F 6 am - 6 pm. While this job can be worked around other responsibilities, we do require flexibility within those hours. Some early mornings and late evenings may be necessary. Travel to client worksites is required. Adapting to different work environments and audiences is a must!
Applicants are required to have one of the following certifications and must be licensed in the state of Ohio:
- Substance Abuse Professional (SAP)
- Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP)
- Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC, LCDC II)
- Licensed Independent Chemical Dependance Counselor
- Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist (OCPS I and II)
- Licensed professional counselor
- SAPAA certification
Core Responsibilities:
- Educating employees and supervisors.
- Use provided curriculum in an interesting manner.
- Stay up to date on current trends in the field.
- Travel to client worksites (Travel in the NORTHEAST OHIO area).
Job Requirements:
- See above for required certifications.
- Past experience presenting education for adult learners preferred.
- Working knowledge of Ohio's Drug Free Safety Program a plus.
- Experience presenting via webinar a plus.
- Must have a positive attitude.
- Must have a valid Ohio driver license with a clean driving record.
- Must provide exceptional customer service with exceptional response time.
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills that are clear, well organized and conscious of audience needs.
- Presents a positive position of our company at all times.
- Understands that this field is always changing and works with our team to ensure we consider and present latest information.
Please note: Contractor must provide proof of workers' compensation coverage and auto insurance in the state of Ohio and must submit to a drug test and background check with driving record upon hire.
