What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coffee Attendant position at Corporate Dining Concepts?
Shift Schedule: MONDAY - FRIDAY
We currently have an immediate opening for Full-Time Coffee Attendant to service machines & Markets. Our Coffee Attendant position reports to the Regional Manager, and are primarily responsible for maintaining the stock and cleanliness of vending machines (and/or Mini Markets), delivery of Office Coffee orders, and inventory control for their assigned locations.
To be successful the position requires a very organized person and must be able to work with little direction and daily support. In addition, mechanical skills is a factor in success.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & DUTIES:
- Placing correct orders with the approved suppliers ;
- Receiving orders;
- Attending to the vending machines, coffee bar and/or Mini-Market needs of each stop on the assigned route while adhering to stock rotation to minimize waste and maintaining the cleanliness of the machines (and markets);
- Collecting cash from vending machines and/or market kiosks and obtaining sales meter readings of vending machines;
- Properly documenting waste (expired stock)
- Client relations at each account
- Ordering and stocking Office Coffee supplies
- General Vending Operations
- Preventative Maintenance
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess EXCELLENT customer service skills and show willingness to always please our guests;
- Must maintain a neat professional appearance at all times;
- Ability to work with limited supervision;
- Professional communication skills; both written and verbal;
- Must have good attention to detail and operate with high efficiency;
- Must work well under pressure and be able to meet assigned service needs;
- Must be able and willing to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly (as needed);
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Prior work experience maintaining vending machines (Not mandatory, but a definite plus);
ADDITIONAL : All Vending Machine Attendants are required to wear proper uniform (most of which is company provided). All positions should be considered customer service roles as all employees are expected to answer customer questions. In addition, all employees are expected to maintain a professional appearance, language, and demeanor at all times as they will be working in close proximity with the corporate clientele. Corporate Dining is a drug free employer.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
