What would your work schedule look like?
- Variable hours based on self availability
- Operational Hours: Monday - Sunday, 7am-10pm
How much could you make in this position?
- 40-45% commission dependent on number of clients and sessions.
- Able to work part-time floor hours at $18-$20 per hour for marketing of PT services and providing site coverage support.
What qualifications are needed?
- Nationally recognized personal training certification: ACSM, NASM, NSCA, ACE, etc.
- Current First Aid, CPR, AED certifications from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, in-person skills component required
- 2 years of experience as a personal trainer preferred
What would be your responsibilities?
- Demonstrate professionalism and reliability
- Engage with members on the fitness center floor and provide corrective techniques.
- Provide superior customer service with excellent verbal communication skills
- Give a thorough assessment of the client’s fitness level
- Establish personal goals and objectives for the client
- Plan and deliver a program appropriate to the goals and objectives of the client
- Discuss the program with the client to assure that the program is meeting his/her basic goals and objectives
- Assess and reassess client's needs at each session
- Maintain a record of each client's progress
- Be alert to unsafe practices or conditions in the exercise facility.
What skills are required?
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of exercise physiology and kinesiology
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients
- Personable; positive attitude, motivational, knowledgeable
