As a full-time employee of Contour Airlines :
- You are eligible for health, vision, and dental coverage as well as short-term / long-term disability and voluntary life insurance policies. If selected, these are effective on the first day of the month following your date of hire. Our current benefit enrollment guide will be provided during the onboarding process if you are selected for employment.
- You are eligible to participate in our 401(k) savings plan, which would also be effective the first day of the month following your date of hire. The Company match is up to 6%. Your eligibility to participate in this benefit will be in accordance with the normal practices and guidelines of the Company. - You are eligible to receive paid sick leave. You can accrue up to 56 hours per year which will roll over each year until your sick bank reaches 480 hours.
- You are eligible to receive vested vacation hours. These hours are available to you on January 1st following your date of hire.
- You are eligible for non-revenue / space available (NRSA) travel privileges after completing six active months of service.
- You are eligible for a variety of leaves of absence including medical leave, non-medical leave for the care of a family member, maternity leave, paternity leave, personal leave, etc. Specific information regarding Contour Airlines' leave of absence policy is outlined in our Employee Handbook which will be provided to you during the onboarding process should you be selected for employment.
Additional information :
The starting annual salary for this position is between $85,000.00 and $95,000.00 depending on your prior work experience. Based on your performance, you are eligible to receive an annual increase of up to 2.50% or more.You will be eligible for a signing bonus of $5,000.00 paid within 30 days of your official start date. Job Description :
The Regional Aircraft Maintenance Manager (RAMM) is responsible for providing oversight of and assistance to its assigned outstation maintenance locations. The RAMM ensures adequate staffing and training of the Aircraft Maintenance Technicians and performs required scheduled and unscheduled maintenance when required to support the Maintenance Operation.
Summary of Essential Duties :
Responsible for the maintenance management of assigned outstation maintenance locations.Ensures maintenance is performed in a safe and compliant manor.In coordination with Aircraft Maintenance Planning, ensures scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is accomplished at assigned maintenance location(s).Familiar working knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations, industry best practices, OSHA and IS-BAO requirements.Complies with Company policies and procedures outlined within the General Maintenance Manual (GMM), Maintenance Procedures Manual (MPM) or any Company standard operating procedure document.Maintains a safe work environment and reports any unsafe conditions.Performs quality maintenance, preventive maintenance, and inspections to conform within the standards established by the Company, Federal regulation and industry best practices achieving the highest reliability goals.Ensures Outstation Monthly Checklists are accomplished and that any findings are corrected.Provides technical support, as needed, in support of assigned aircraft.Updates and interfaces with computerized maintenance tracking program(s).Ensures aircraft parts are requested in a timely manner to address unscheduled and deferred maintenance items.Perform maintenance planning along with the management oversight of inspections, repairs and modifications.Ensures timely scheduling of maintenance in order to least impact flight schedule and provide for high degree of aircraft availability.Proactively provides recommendations for company policies and procedures.Assist in locating on-call maintenance providers in his / her assigned region.Provides support in troubleshooting defective aircraft systems and components in an effective manner.Ensures that necessary tooling and / or equipment is available to accomplish the assigned project / task.Responsible for accuracy of time and attendance / personal leave ensuring adequate coverage to support the maintenance operation.Recommend specific training for employee personnel and help determine attendees.Performs special projects and other duties as assigned or required.Physical Requirements :

Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditionsThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive / depart.Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace.The work environment may be extremely hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.Qualifications
Be at least 23 years of age.Must be authorized to work in the United States and eligible to travel in and out of the United States.Possess a valid driver's license and good driving record.Airframe and Powerplant Certificate requiredAbility to travel within assigned region to provide required oversight and assistance.Two (2) years of college or equivalent technical training, in related field preferredTen (10) years of experience in aviation maintenance.Three (3) years or more in a supervisory role within a 14 CFR Part 135 or Part 121 operation, preferred.Practical aircraft maintenance experience on assigned or similar type of aircraft.Thorough knowledge of maintenance planning, along with management oversight of inspections, repairs, and modifications.Operational knowledge of laptop and desktop computers, working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat or related presentation programs. Operational knowledge of Outlook is required.
