You will be at the forefront of helping our business continually update our skills in ensuring we remain competitive and innovative in a rapidly evolving landscape.
What You’ll Do
Agency Implementation and Software Optimization
- Coordinate with the IT department on digital transformation efforts with identifying and implementing new automation opportunities, technologies and tools.
- Collaborate with different teams and IT to maximize the use of Microsoft 365 (including Copilot, Teams, OneDrive, and Office), and other agency software, ensuring efficient workflows and seamless resource sharing.
Agency Education Initiatives
- Identify the most impactful technology training needs across our team.
- Design engaging, customized learning experiences that enhance the agency’s overall technological proficiency and efficiency.
- Coordinate AI training initiatives and oversee Vertafore University content and learning paths.
- Partner with insurance carriers to coordinate staff training on websites, and rating tools.
AMS360 System Administration
- Stay current with Vertafore products and participate in industry discussions.
- Manage specific AMS360 system functions, including company setups, user profiles, etc.
Policy Downloads & Optimization
- Coordinate with carriers to expand carrier download capabilities and optimize integration with AMS360.
- Assist with IVANS download configurations and troubleshooting download errors.
User Access Management
- Assist with the employee onboarding/offboarding processes, including user account management and credential administration.
- Assist with login creation, carrier access management, and insurance company appointments.
Who You Are
Required Skills
- Strong ability to explain technical concepts (including AI concepts) to non-technical audiences.
- A gift for educating, inspiring, and equipping teams to confidently leverage technology (including AI software and AI agents) to its fullest potential.
- Prior experience leading training sessions and creating instructional content.
- Familiarity with AI software and a keen interest in learning and guiding others in AI adoption.
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and optimize various business operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of the insurance industry workflows.
- Experience with agency management systems (AMS360 preferred) and carrier portals.
- Expertise in data organization within Microsoft Teams and OneDrive.
- Creating and formatting excel reports, utilizing pivot tables for data analysis.
Preferred Educational Background (Highly Desirable)
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Insurance & Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications or coursework in Insurance Technology, IT Support, AI, or Training & Development.
