What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker/ West Texas Man Camp position at Corporate Hospitality Housing?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Lead and prepare dessert items for customers using predetermined methods in a timely and consistent manner. Set up station with predetermined mise in place required to service all mealtime functions. Practice sanitation and safety daily to ensure that customer satisfaction is met.

- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must possess basic computational ability.
- Ability to read recipes, menus and follow their instructions.
- Ability to create appropriate food service displays demonstrating customer service as primary function during meal hours.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
➢ Baking experience
➢ Ensuring the set nutritional and sanitary regulations are met. Accurately labelling and storing food items in the pantry
➢ Maintaining ingredient stocks
➢ Providing assistance to the Head Chef
➢ Preparing salads, sauces, side dishes and entrees for different course menus
➢ Inspecting and setting out the plates
➢ Planning the daily kitchen duties in line with the Chef’s prep list
➢ Maintain clean, organized and safe workstation at all times.
➢ Receives grocery orders and ensure proper storage rotation at all items. FIFO (first in-first out) to be followed.
➢ Ensure measures are practiced to minimize food waste and spoilage.
➢ To ensure all items in fridges are dated and labeled at all times.
➢ Ability to maintain a clean and safe workstation.
➢ Use PPEs at all times, e.g. Nitrile gloves, cutting gloves.
➢ Prep Desserts
➢ Bake per Head chef request
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Shift:
- 8 hour shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Baking: 3 years (Required)
