GENERAL DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will provide technical support to employees, manage service requests, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires. Your work will be essential in keeping our systems secure, efficient, and up-to-date..
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Resolve IT support requests from employees in a timely and professional manner
- Answer employee questions related to computer systems, software, and hardware
- Gather and analyze data to diagnose system issues
- Adjust configurations, settings, and permissions to correct technical problems
- Set up user accounts and credentials for new hires during the onboarding process
- Install and update software, drivers, and system components as needed
- Provide regular updates to employees regarding the status of their requests
- Log all support requests and update tickets within the tracking system
SKILLS
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic networking knowledge (IP configuration, VPN setup, etc.)
- Experience with Active Directory and user account management
- Knowledge of software installation, updates, and driver configurations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical role
- Demonstrated ability to resolve a wide range of hardware, software, and access issues
- Experience supporting users in a professional, fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with onboarding processes and account setup for new employees
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS (AFTER 90 DAYS)
- Starting Compensation:
- $25 per hour
