Our client is a reputable and growing firm on the east side of Cleveland that is seeking a Trust and Estate Paralegal who will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys with legal matters related to estates, wills, trusts, and probate proceedings.
Responsibilities
- Interact with clients on substantive legal matters – handle client calls, questions and inquiries.
- Follow up with clients on missing our outstanding drafting items.
- Manage and maintain estate administration files from opening the estate to closing the estate.
- Input raw client data into document creation programs and prepare / proof initial drafts of estate planning, trust administration and probate documents for attorney review.
- Communicate with the Clerk of Court, clients, banks, and other professionals.
- Revise documents after attorney review.
- Gather, review, and organize data regarding client’s beneficiaries, trustees, agents, and other representatives.
- Send and track correspondence related to the trust and probate administration process to clients, advisors, and financial institutions.
