Basic Function:
The Project Manager is responsible for all production elements involved within a live event production. They work closely with the client to assess needs and vision; create and or collaborates on all designs; schedules equipment, assigns personnel, and executes all production elements of a live event. The Project Manager is responsible for each project from the order stage through final project completion.
Essential Functions:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the live event production industry. Supervisory experience is a strong plus.
Working Knowledge: Must possess excellent technical knowledge in sound, video, lighting, staging, rigging, and design. Strong consideration given to individuals with video or lighting expertise. Must have the ability to create CAD designs and have a keen sense of how to seamlessly integrate all aspects of a multimedia event.
Licenses and Certifications: Extra consideration will be given to candidates with a Class B commercial driver’s license or willing and able to obtain one.
Travel:
Occasional out of town travel will be required.

- Responsible for coordinating setup and operation of all aspects of multi-media events/projects.
- Takes leadership role regarding customer communications for event.
- Responsible for working with estimating personnel to ensure competitive and accurate proposal to customer.
- Assists in estimating event needs by participating in site-surveys as needed.
- Responsible for coordinating equipment required for events incl.
- Responsible for maintaining and bringing the event on budget.
- Works directly with customers to establish project timeline.
- Responsible for communicating project progress to Director of Live Events, company support and technical staff.
- Responsible for conducting project meetings with technical staff.
- Responsible for scheduling company technical staff and any associated subcontractors.
- Manages and coordinates all personnel on jobsite.
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects/events.

- Required to move and/or transport equipment and prep equipment for events, which includes assisting with loading/unloading trucks. Fork trucks and carts are used for heavy lifting, but some lifting to 75 lbs. is required.
- Installation and set-up of equipment, running cable, set up systems, electrical low and high voltage wiring.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Noise levels at production events may be at or above 100dB.
- Much work is performed outside and is subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations.
