We are currently seeking a self-motivated, results-oriented Site Merchandiser and Web Content Analyst.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage, update, and maintain product listings on Microcenter.com, ensuring data accuracy. Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data.
- Ensure website content meets the needs of our customers.
- Ensure maximum efficiency of web search results through proper insertion and incorporation of keywords.
- Perform regular reviews of specified categories of merchandise to ensure content accuracy, timeliness, and relevance.
- Analyze product performance within categories to identify trends, optimize conversion rates, and drive sales while aligning with marketing initiatives and brand strategy.
- Develop and maintain reports to track category performance, providing insights to the broader team.
- Monitor and respond to product-related inquiries, identifying patterns in customer feedback to drive site improvements.
- Audit data for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and implement correction
- Identify and communicate opportunities for website enhancements, contributing to the execution of improvement projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and IT teams to ensure data-driven decision making.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- General knowledge of computers; processors, memory, storage, peripherals, and software. Consumer electronics, and accessories. Internet search engines, database management and databases.
- Background and/or general knowledge of ecommerce site merchandising
- Skilled at multitasking, PC software, and office applications.
- Knowledge of procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.
- Must be a detail-oriented, self-starter, and have excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work within a team.
- Familiarity with merchandising tools, such as Bloomreach preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
