Join our team! Corporate Maintenance Group is looking for a truck & equipment mechanic. We are a fast-growing pavement marking contractor in the Baltimore area. We are looking for hard working and reliable individuals to help us continue to grow. There is plenty of room for advancement for those individuals willing to put their hard work, time and skills to the test. We provide pavement marking, water blasting, striping, tape & thermoplastic in the Maryland area.
FLEET MECHANIC:
Position Summary:
Applicants MUST have at least 5 years of professional mechanical experience with automobiles and small engine, and a Valid Driver’s License to be considered
Perform preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to Corporate Maintenance Group's line striping equipment, skid steers, trucks, and trailers.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Maintain, service, and perform preventative maintenance on ALL fleet trucks
- Maintain, service, and perform preventative maintenance on ALL equipment and tools
- Relay needed inventory of shop supplies and tools to management
- Make deliveries to teams and perform on-site fixes when needed
- Be an ambassador for the company and a resource for other employees
- Able to communicate with management and field members
- Train employees on safe equipment methods
- Complete and submit all required paperwork on a regular basis
- Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization for trucks, trailers, equipment, tools, and shop/yard areas
- Comply with all company policies and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Summary:
- Applicants MUST Have Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to/from work
- Applicants MUST have at least 5 years of professional mechanical experience with automobiles and small engines
- Applicants MUST be enthusiastic, dependable and able to work safely
- Ability to communicate and work well with management and other employees.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
- Organized and professional in appearance and action.
- Ability to frequently lift, push and pull 80 lbs.
- Ability to repeatedly bend, stoop, lift, push and pull materials and equipment; ability to work in various positions including but not limited to, standing, walking, stooping, bending, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods
