Shipping and Receiving Clerk (2nd)
Summary of Job
-
Must follow Standard Operation Procedures located in the SQF archive. Interpret bill of ladings, packing slips, order Acknowledgements, incoming quality control procedures, inspect Finish Goods, process documents accordingly, maintain and file daily shipping documents, and service multiple client requirement orders. Provides support to external warehouses regarding inventory availability and shipping schedules. Handle an array of front-facing duties, interacting with customers over the phone, and or via email. Maintain a high level of Professionalism and communication processing orders, modifications, and complaints. Report and escalate issues to upper-level management. Provide support to production during monthly inventories to compare item and quantity discrepancies. Perform all duties under all regulatory procedures through SQF, GDP, HACCP, and SAFETY practices maintained and established at Mt. Franklin Foods.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Responsible for receiving and storage of Finish Good samples from DC.

Daily communication with Juarez plants and Distribution center on Importations and shipments.

Generates material replenishments for production and maintains logs.

Ensure accurate driver check-in when arriving at the shipping office

Verify pick-up and appointment status through Blu Jay at the start of every shift.

Process and prepare trailer load documents systematically for shipping and receiving

Verify all documents are filled correctly
-
Must complete a daily inventory report of all trailers in the yard.

Issues shipping and receiving assignments (to include unload trailers, orders to be picked, BOL to be loaded, etc.) to forklift operators.

Must validate all loads were placed in the right locations once offloaded and signed.

Must ensure supervisor is aware of all situations
-
Must communicate clearly to MFF warehouses.

Must ensure open reports are closed out at the end of the shift.

Complies and enforces food quality and food safety.

Complies and enforces Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Education and Qualifications
-
Complete understanding of customer service responsibilities. (6 months experience preferred)
-
Forklift Certified is a plus.

Good Understanding of Inventory Control
-
Read, Write and Speak. (English Language) (Spanish is a plus)

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office tools to generate charts and reports.
Physical Requirements

Lifting up to 50 lbs., sitting for 2-4 hours with no difficulties, standing for an extended period of time, stooping and bending occasionally, and walking.
