Description
Summary of Job |
The Project Engineer is responsible for CapEx project management, development, and implementation of Engineering projects, support and customize the solutions to maintain and improve facilities, utilities efficiency and profitability of the company investment in infrastructure.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities |
- Supervise and coordinate engineering projects for the plant
- Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, corporate standards, and specifications
- Supervise the technical development, scheduling, and budgeting of engineering projects
- Control of CapEx budget
- New projects evaluation and assessment of feasibility
- Ensure project management minimizes risks
- Complies and enforces Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Performs internal audits of the Safety and Quality System
- Coordinate across teams to manage a list of all active or conceptual projects, track the status and prepare summaries as needed and lead or participate in project prioritization meetings
- Establish and enforce engineering policies, procedures, and standards that align with corporate engineering.
- Coordinates and communicates design requirements throughout each project
- Drive the metrics of success for the engineering department
- Ensures project documentation and communication between all stakeholders
- Oral Communication: speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; demonstrates presentation skills.
- Written Communication: writes clearly and informatively; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.

- Utilities software's for calculation and simulation of actual/future projects (CFD’s, Refrigeration and boilers)
Education and Qualifications |
- Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical, Electrical, or any related discipline of engineering. 5 years of experience
- Preferred: Master's Degree: Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation
Physical Requirements |
- Must be able to visually recognize non-conforming products, equipment, and packaging materials, and do sensory evaluations for any non-conforming product(s). Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
