About the position:
We're looking for a Test Lab Driver. As a temporary employee in this position you will:
- Drive various forklift truck products for standard tests.
- Complete standard tests according to defined procedures in a laboratory environment.
- Record test data manually
- Transfer manual notes and observations into Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
- Work in both a team and individual environment.
About the schedule:
This position is 2nd shift and will work 3:00pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday. There is also the potential for overtime.
First week's schedule: The selected candidate must be able to attend orientation during first shift hours on Monday and will begin work a second shift schedule Tuesday through Thursday or Friday, for training the rest of the week.
About the work environment:
Works in a factory setting. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in accordance with Company policy. For forklift operation, required to obtain and maintain Forklift Driver Certification through the Company and operate the forklift in a safe manner. Required to stand for long periods of time and manually lift/move/manipulate parts up to 50 pounds or use cranes/hoists to move heavier materials. Temperatures may be extreme; elevated in the summer, cold in the winter. Needs to be able to cope with stressors and demands that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable and defined levels of performance are maintained.
About you:
- Possess a high school diploma.
- Basic hand tool and assembly experience/knowledge.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and dependable.

- Previous forklift experience
- 1 year of experience
About the total compensation package:
Wage - $18.50 per hour 10% shift differential for 2nd shift.
