Corporate Resources, on behalf of our client located in Elk Grove Village, IL, is hiring a full-time, permanent Entry Level Logistics Specialists.
Entry Level Logistics Specialists – Elk Grove Village, IL
$45,000 - $50,000/Annually (Plus full health benefits, PTO, 401k)

As they continue to grow and expand into new industries such as beauty and fashion, they are looking to add candidates to their team that are eager to get their foot in the door of the logistics industry. While this is an entry level position, they value hard work, commitment, and strive to provide the necessary resources and opportunities for upward mobility.
The Entry Level Logistics Specialists play an essential role in the daily operations of the company. Ideal candidates will be self-driven, detail oriented, and eager to learn the industry.
Your responsibilities (after being trained) will include:
- Complete shipment activities; examine invoices and other shipment documents to ensure accurate and timely entry into database
- Investigate and resolve logistic issues to ensure on-time delivery of goods to customers; collaborate with other departments as necessary
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and document problems and services issues and maintain operational systems
- Maintain databases with logistics information and develop weekly and monthly reports and data analysis
- Ensure customer information is up to date in the database; verify and modify when necessary (billing address, delivery destination, contact information, etc.)
- Coordinate and execute special projects and additional services as requested
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree is a MUST
- Problem solving and analytical abilities to identify and solve problems that may or may not be resolved by standardized procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Willingness to continue self-development through ongoing training
Salary : $45,000 - $50,000
