Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Oversee the tracking and management of materials and parts required for aerospace production, including specialized raw materials, high-performance alloys, and electronic components. Conduct regular stock counts, manage reorder levels, and work with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries to prevent any production delays.
Production Scheduling Assistance:
Collaborate with the production team to support the creation and management of production schedules. Ensure that materials, labor, and equipment are allocated appropriately to meet strict production timelines. Help coordinate resources for both commercial and military aerospace projects, adjusting schedules as needed to accommodate changing priorities or urgent orders.
Purchase Order Process:
Assist in the creation and management of purchase orders for raw materials and components used in aerospace manufacturing. Communicate with suppliers to track the status of orders, confirm material specifications, and ensure on-time delivery. Assist with negotiating pricing and terms to maintain cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Operational Coordination:
Coordinate between the production, engineering, and procurement teams to monitor production workflows, resolve bottlenecks, and optimize processes. Ensure that any issues affecting the production timeline or quality standards are identified and addressed promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate/Bachelors preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the manufacturing industry in a related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with multiple teams and external suppliers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and high-pressure deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to contribute to process optimization efforts.
Salary : $50,000 - $57,000
