About the Role:
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be at the heart of supporting our sales team and ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to drive success. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing critical support to sales reps. You will work directly with sales representatives, internal teams, and external stakeholders to streamline processes, track project progress, and help generate leads. Your contributions will ensure that sales activities run smoothly and efficiently, allowing the sales team to focus on closing deals and driving revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate leads for consumer goods manufacturing projects, ensuring alignment with our product offerings.
- Track and manage project funnels, providing senior management with timely updates.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, specifications, and competitor activity, ensuring projects stay on track.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project data is comprehensive and up to date.
- Respond to inquiries generated from advertising efforts, supporting prospecting activities for new customers/vendors.
- Manage incoming requests via the company website, qualify them, and direct them
- Provide ongoing support for project tracking, including detailed reporting on project status and progress.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in sales support or a similar role.
- Strong math skills, with the ability to perform calculations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and an ERP or CRM system (SAP preferred).
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
