We are seeking a focused, analytical Senior Product Engineer to join our design team. This role involves collaborating with the research and design team, conceptualizing and designing new products, testing product designs, and drafting specifications for manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop functional, innovative product designs that align with project goals.
- Create and evaluate prototypes to validate concepts, ensuring performance, reliability, and safety. Work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the testing phase.
- Refine designs based on testing feedback to enhance performance, manufacturability, and cost efficiency. Use CAD software and other engineering tools to create detailed specifications.
- Partner with suppliers and other manufacturers to source components, provide technical guidance, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Support the transition from design to production by optimizing processes and troubleshooting design-related challenges to ensure a smooth manufacturing ramp-up.
- Maintain accurate design documentation, specifications, and test reports while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor product performance post-launch, gather feedback, and propose enhancements to improve functionality and competitiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 5 years of product management experience.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, product development, and manufacturing processes (preferred).
- Ability to think outside of the box and develop creative, user-centric solutions while balancing functionality and aesthetics.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to address technical challenges and enhance product performance.
- Effective at working with cross-functional teams, conveying technical concepts, and ensuring alignment across departments.
- Proven ability to develop and present a clear, concise product strategy to executive management.
- Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, organization, and time-management skills.
Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
