We’re looking for a Warehouse Manager to take charge of our Schaumburg, IL operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the leadership, logistics expertise, and organizational skills to run a high-volume warehouse, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse employees to meet safety, accuracy, and productivity targets.
- Ensure proper inventory management, cycle counts, and reconciliation to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs using dashboards and performance tracking tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe warehouse environment in compliance with HACCP, FDA, USDA, and SQF standards.
- Enforce safety protocols and proactively address potential hazards or violations.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Train, coach, and develop warehouse staff to improve performance and support career growth.
- Collaborate with production, quality control, and engineering teams to streamline operations.
- Submit and review weekly payroll hours, including timecard exceptions.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and drive best practices.
What You Bring
- Bachelors Degree
- 3 years of direct management experience in a warehouse environment.
- 5 years of warehouse or logistics experience, ideally in food manufacturing or CPG.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a big plus.
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment, safety protocols, and food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments.
