What you will be doing :

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Develop tailored strategies for key accounts and identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Set clear sales targets and motivate the team to achieve and exceed them.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with business objectives.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about the cannabis industry and regulatory changes.
  • Train the sales team on product features, benefits, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management highlighting key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the sales budget.
  • Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and events.

Experience you will need :

  • Experience managing a sales team of at least 3 direct reports.
  • 3 years of proven experience in account management or sales management.
  • Sales experience in the cannabis industry required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite for reporting, communication, and analytics.
  • Strong understanding of cannabis products, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, events, and industry engagements.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License.
