SUMMARY: The responsibility of the Residential Coordinator will function as a primary support for the overall administration and provision of residential services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The position requires strong organizational skills, proficient problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, an ability to lead team efforts, and the capacity to work with developmentally disabled adults in a structured setting.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors, preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in similar position preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must have the ability to work in high stress/ high volume environment, while maintaining open communication with other components of treatment and operations
- Knowledge of DDS systems.
- Knowledge of basic computer technology and software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Medication Certification through DDS must be acquired within six months of hire date and maintained throughout employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide oversight of daily program operations for a housing program servicing individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Must be able to exercise efficient problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- An ability to calmly respond to crisis and emergency situations.
- Manage and maintain an account of all on-site and mandated staff training.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external providers (including but not limited to; parents/guardians, DDS case management, residential and day program providers, nursing staff and other service providers).
- Advocate in the best interest of the individuals being served.
- Facilitates the staff interview and hiring process.
- Conducts staff meetings and supervision.
- Knowledge of therapy, is preferred.
- Completes staff scheduling and delegates daily transportation assignments.
- Track and document fiscal expenditures.
- Responsible for the timely submission of timesheets to payroll.
- Other duties as assigned.
SALARY: $50,000 - $55,000/ Annually
SCHEDULE: Full time: Monday - Friday (12:00 pm to 8:00 pm)
