Division Exercise Training System (DXTRS) Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Ft. Sill, Oklahoma
The DXTRS SME reports to and receives work direction derivatives from the Project Manager. These duties will include:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides instruction on the installation, configuration, operation, integration and maintenance of DXTRS systems and software applications as well as future Maneuver systems and software applications.
- Maintains DXTRS systems and associated workstations by configuring and troubleshooting each system and respective workstations per supporting technical documentation in a classroom training and COC collective staff training environment.
- Rebuild DXTRS systems for exercises and classroom instruction when required.
- Develops and validates instructional material on DXTRS systems and applications and provides feedback and recommendations on training curriculum improvements and system and application upgrades to DXTRS through approved channels.
- Maintains currency and provides instruction in service, joint, multi-national, and coalition position location reporting and tracks management processes and procedures to support COP management, integration practices and procedures, and military operational planning and plans’ execution.
- Will travel to conduct on-site instruction and technical assistance as required to include field training environments and will participate in mobile training teams.
- Participates in configuration control boards (CCBs), meetings, and conferences as directed by the on-site government representative.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described.
EDUCATION
1. Civilian Education.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, higher preferred.
- UNIX Systems Administrator – Level 1 and MCP desired.
2. Military Education.
- Preferred that contractor has attended a formal C2 systems operators and system administration course for their assigned C2 systems.
- Formal School Instructor Course or Instructional Systems Design (ISD) course is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Requires minimum of one (1) years’ experience with DXTRS in a low overhead training environment.
- Requires minimum of one (1) years’ experience in DXTRS interaction with all other DXTRS linkages such as the DIS and MCS feed and stimulation respectively.
- Requires experience in providing simulation advice to support ALOTT capability development and demonstrated expertise in low overhead capability development, Validation Verification Accreditation (VVA) and use support.
- Requires minimum of one (1) years’ experience DXTRS database administration in DXTRS and have experience in database design and maintenance.
- Requires minimum of one (1) years’ experience developing and executing functional vignettes for test events and planning and executing OREs.

SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS
- Travel is required.
- Qualification as authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a driving recrod that is acceptable to the company's auto insurance provider.
SECURITY CLEARANCE
- A Secret clearance is required for this position, higher is preferred.
