Operations Specialist

The Operations Specialist is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the organization. This role ensures the efficient functioning of operations by supporting process optimization, troubleshooting operational issues, and maintaining effective communication across various departments. The Operations Specialist works closely with management to improve workflows, implement new strategies, and contribute to the achievement of organizational goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate operational activities across departments to ensure efficient workflow and meet organizational goals to include coordinating future C2 System training plans.
- Work extensively with Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) C2 systems program offices on equipment fielding and training plans.
- Work extensively on Program Objective Memorandum (POM) budgeting issues throughout the Marine Corps Combat Development Command (MCCDC) and TECOM.
- Develop, implement, and optimize operational procedures, processes, and C2 systems to increase efficiency across C2TECOE.
- Monitor and analyze daily operations to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes as necessary to include the C2TECOE Training and Exercise Employment Plan (TEEP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and managing all MISTC Operations.
- Prepare and maintain reports on operational performance, metrics, and outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards, and help maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff in operational best practices.
- Manage scheduling and resource allocation to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
PREFERRED EDUCATION
- Minimum of a High School Diploma - Bachelor’s degree preferred.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Former experience as an (0302) Operations Officer or (0369 / 0399) Ops Chief.
- Previously served as an Instructor at a Marine Corps Formal School (MOS producing school or the SNCO Academy).
- Former experience with process improvement, project management, and data analysis.

WORKING CONDITIONS

- Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company's auto insurance provider.
SECURITY CLEARANCE
- Must have a current Secret Clearance.
