Reports to: Manager, Ballpark Entertainment
Classification: Part-Time (Non-Exempt)
Summary/Objective:
The Corpus Christi Hooks Baseball Club, Double-A Affiliate of the Houston Astros, is seeking Game Day Production Statistics Staff. This position reports to the Ballpark Entertainment Manager.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Work closely with official scorers to accurately score games.
- Use DakStats Baseball, All Sport 500, and other scoring software to record game statistics.
- Ensure all data is entered correctly and promptly during games.
- Provide support for any statistical inquiries from coaches, players, or media.
- Stay updated on the rules and regulations of the sport to ensure accurate scoring.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with the scoring software.
- Participate in pre-game and post-game meetings as required.
Education and/or Experience & Skills:
- Strong communication skills and superior customer service abilities
- Must have at least one (1) year of baseball gameplay and statistics experience.
- Ability to work nights weekends and holidays.
- Ability to operate a computer in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to bring a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Work Environment
This job operates in a stadium setting. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment. This job will be expected to work indoor and outdoor in moderate weather conditions.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a largely sedentary role. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and focused vision. This role must have attention to detail using vision.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time seasonal position. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Travel:
Travel is not expected in this role.
