Job Summary
The job of Game Day Grounds Crew member is the upkeep and maintenance of the overall grounds. The Grounds Crew member will work various hours according to the needs of the Head Grounds Keeper. This position is a seasonal position that includes nights and weekends during the Spring and Summer.
This position reports to the Head Grounds Keeper.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Maintenance of the main baseball field, including edging, field lining, fertilizing, weed and disease control, tarp protection, and general clean up
- Helping assist with additional landscaping duties, as needed
- Set-up and tear down of batting practice
- Maintenance of Home and Visitor bullpen following each game
- Maintenance of main baseball field following each game

- Provide great customer service for the fan experience
- Ability to work long hours, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to stand for long periods of time in direct sunlight
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
Work Environment
This job operates in a stadium setting. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment. This job will be expected to work indoor and outdoor in moderate weather conditions.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee will be required to carry and move equipment up to 60 lbs., and up to 75 lbs. at times. Ability to use/operate typical grounds keeping hand tools, implements, and power tools on a regular basis, for long periods of time. Ability to work in a hands-on position in all weather extremes for extended periods of time.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including; extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Travel is not expected in this role.
