Job Summary
The maintenance worker will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Coordinator before and during games in general facility maintenance, repair and upkeep of the stadium. Maintenance worker will work all home Hooks games, amateur games and special events, times TBD dependent on the baseball schedule and events. This position reports to the Director of Stadium Operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Prepping the stadium to open gates and securing the stadium upon completion of game.
- Complete Safety walks
- Turn on/off lighting
- Set all thermostats
- Unlock/lock all doors
- Set alarms as necessary
- Construction, plumbing and troubleshooting as needed during game/event
- Stadium seating replacement
- Assisting in electrical and HVAC as needed during game/event
- Drive equipment such as a forklift, scissor lift, maintenance cart, etc.
- Complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- Small engine repair and golf cart repair
- Painting
- Cleaning
- In the event of inclement weather, maintenance worker will be called to assist as necessary for the protection and preparation of the stadium facility.
Qualifications:
- General maintenance knowledge
- Previous maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to work long hours, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
Work Environment
Position will work in a stadium environment. This position will be expected to work extended hours, in all weather conditions, including rain and heat. This position will be on the field and within the stadium for majority of working days. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee will be required to carry and move packages up to 60 lbs., and up to 75 lbs. at times. Ability to use/operate maintenance tools including but not limited to: hand tools, implements, and power tools on a regular basis, for long periods of time.
Ability to work in a hands-on position in all weather extremes for extended periods of time.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position, and hours of work may vary. Due to the nature of this position, the position requires hours of work and days that include frequent nights, weekends and holiday. This could include attendance at home baseball games and special events.
Travel
Travel is not expected in this role.
