Education / Certification Required :
- High School Graduate or GED

Three (3) years of experience demonstrating superior technical skills including knowledge of PC / Server hardware / software repair and maintenance, MS Windows, MS Office, LAN (design, implementation, support), and remote systems.
Ideal candidate will possess 3 years experience supporting mid to large scale PC user community.
Two (2) years experience developing plans to improve network performance, technology services, and customer productivity

The Technology Support Administrator is responsible for on-site technology support of all District campuses and administrative sites.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS :
Provide technical support, including design, installation, and maintenance of end-user (computing device and applications) environment.Assist in technology projects including installation, migration, configuration, upgrade; etc., of the District's technology equipment.Assist customers in understanding and using the technology provided.Provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and safety procedures for school sites.Improve customer understanding and productivity with the technology installed.Prioritize and respond to requests for technical assistance from campuses and administrative areas.Advise Instructional Team of training needs based on observations and requests coming in from campus sites.Provide direction for appropriate usage of technology equipment to district employees.Work with the LAN and WAN Specialists to analyze problem data and develop a course of action to appropriate service levels.Maintain appropriate records on services provided to collect data on technology problems.Assist with the Help Desk function when required.Call on warranty to repair technology equipment.Maintain existing certifications and continually update skills.Perform other job-related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.Maintain and update technology inventory in asset system.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES :
