Job Title: Site Safety Manager
Location: Must be local or willing to relocate

As a Corr Safety Site Safety Manager, you will gain a vast range of experience across multiple industries while having the support of a group of highly qualified safety professionals. Our primary industries include Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation, and New Construction.
The Site Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures on-site. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively lead safety initiatives, conduct training, and foster a culture of safety excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a trusting working relationship with the client to ensure a safe work environment.
- Identify and implement improvements to the safety program through gap analysis.
- Read, review, and effectively execute a client’s Health and Safety Program.
- Develop and conduct safety orientations and training sessions.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform risk assessments and provide training to mitigate hazards.
- Conduct audits, identify safety hazards, and effectively document and communicate observations.
- Present safety information to employees and management.
- Develop site-specific Health and Safety Programs and Emergency Action Plans.
- Review accident reports and document incidents using proper forms and protocols.
- Conduct personal and atmospheric air sampling.
- Develop detailed pre-job Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs).
- Oversee the installation of safety devices and protective equipment.
- Foster client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Current TWIC card is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of field safety experience in heavy industrial settings, preferably in petrochemical facilities.
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours for special projects, including weekends.
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Relevant certifications are a plus: CSP, CHST, OSHA 500, 510, and/or 511.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent walking, including on uneven surfaces.
- Occasional climbing of stairs and ladders.
