Job Summary
The Patient Care Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient experience in a healthcare setting. The position is M, T, TH, F, 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM. We are closed on Wednesdays and weekends.
Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information about services offered.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments while managing the calendar for healthcare providers.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history.
- Assist with the preparation of patient records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized patient files.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with both patients and staff.
- Support the office team in daily operations to enhance workflow efficiency.
