Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems. This role involves working with various types of heavy equipment and requires a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues with air brake systems, hydraulics, HVAC, and other mechanical components.
- Operate heavy equipment safely while performing repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Utilize welding techniques as needed for repairs.
- Inspect and troubleshoot shocks, struts, and other suspension components.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role in the automotive or heavy equipment industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diesel engine repair.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques.
- Experience operating cranes and other heavy machinery is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $29.24 - $35.00 per hour
