Job Description
Job Duties:
- Ensure that all of the quality check procedures put in place by the company are followed during every production phase
- Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor.
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into a quality database.
- Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Enforce quality procedures and note the corrective actions that were taken
- Educate the production team on quality control issues and work with departmental managers to improve overall company safety and product quality.
- Performs product/process analysis for quality improvement.
- Represents manufacturing on cross-functional teams.
- Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested. Keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Follow the instruction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead
- Inspects all parts so that they are complete and up to quality standards.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
- Must comply with all OSHA and safety procedures.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Education, and Experience include but are not limited to:
- Excellent Organization Skills & self-motivated.
- Be able to identify different models and read orders.
- Be able to check boats and or parts in accordance with Nautique’s Quality System.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Work with a team to complete daily tasks
- Follow the instruction of the lead when doing miscellaneous duties
- Good verbal communication skills
- Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature
- Must be able to bend at waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to climb into and out of the interior of boats
- Must be able to wear proper safety equipment as needed
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds when necessary
- The ability to see details at close range
- Be able to use and maintain small hand tools (grinder, scraper, razor knife, blower, etc)
- Must have a valid driver’s license
