Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the clinical aspects of patient care under the supervision of RNs, HSA, Mid-Level Providers, Physicians, or administrative personnel.
- Maintain standard and ethics of nursing in accordance with applicable State Board of Nursing and other accrediting agencies.
- Respond to needs within the correctional environment while providing quality care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from a national or state-approved school of nursing program.
- Hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of employment.
- American Heart Association BLS certification required.
- Corrections experience is highly valued but not mandatory.
