Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at Correctional Medicine Associates. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to inmates in a correctional setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clinical coordination for the comprehensive mental health care program
- Manage the operation and provide overall direction and leadership for the provision of mental health services
- Assess and provide DSM diagnosis as appropriate
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications
- Supervise and provide mentorship to other facility-based mental health staff
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with an advanced degree in psychology or a related field
- Five years clinical experience, including two years in a comparable position
- A valid driver's license is required
