CPS is a leader in providing Correctional Mental Health services. Our focus is on providing high quality compassionate care to all those we work with.
We are currently looking to hire a full time Assistant Mental Health Director at Bristol County Jail, N. Dartmouth, MA.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Coordinate provision and documentation of mental health services to ensure the identification, assessment and treatment is provided in accordance with policies and standards of Mental Health Management.
Provide professional and administrative support to staff.
Maintain open communication with facility staff to facilitate mental health delivery systems, resolution of problem situations, and communication of clinical issues relevant to the safety of the inmates, staff, and the facility.
Provide clinical supervision and training to new clinicians.
Coordinate facility mental health Continuous Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance Programs.
Coordinate training for correctional and medical staff on mental health issues as requested by the facility.
Shared on-call responsibility and coordination.
Candidates must possess a master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field, and be independently licensed.
Must have a minimum of two years supervisory experience to be considered.
Must be available to work one evening a week and a Saturday a month.
Experience working in a correctional environment is preferred.
