We are currently looking to hire a full time Mental Health Director at our Bristol County Jail & House of Correction location, N. Dartmouth.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Coordinate provision and documentation of mental health services to ensure the identification, assessment and treatment is provided in accordance with policies and standards of Mental Health Management.
Provide professional and administrative support to staff. Maintain open communication with facility staff to facilitate mental health delivery systems, resolution of problem situations, and communication of clinical issues relevant to the safety of the inmates, staff, and the facility.
Provide clinical supervision. Coordinate facility mental health scheduling and Continuous Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance Programs.
Coordinate training for correctional and medical staff on mental health issues as requested by the facility.
Provide individual therapeutic support to incarcerated individuals and immigration detainees, addressing mental health concerns, emotional well-being, and behavioral challenges.
Candidates must possess a master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field, and be independently licensed.
Must have a minimum of two years supervisory experience to be considered.
Experience working in a correctional environment is preferred.
